Marketers often tout Acai berry as a great weight loss supplement. However I have not found any research to help support this claim. The literature I have read shows that Acai berries have no slimming properties. What it does do is it can suppress your appetite therefore making you eat less. It also boosts your energy level making you more active.

I consume frozen acai berries which come in pulp form. This gets added to my daily smoothies to maintain health. I have found it made my skin smoother. So if you can afford it I would purchase the frozen pulp.

The acai berry has been rated as the number #1 superfood. As promising study by the University of Florida has shown that acai berries kill off cancer cells in lab tests. Further studies are still needed to see if this can be duplicated when the berries are consumed by humans.

You can read about this study by clicking here:

Hope that helps you out.

If you had taken the time to read the disclaimers, you would have found out this is a scam. One poster about a month ago, stated his girlfriend almost died because of taking this junk. Get rid of it quick and don't take it!!
